Developer - JD Edwards

Purpose of Job:
The role is to develop solutions based on JDE Toolset that meet business requirements and system goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
' - Provides user-support for JD Edwards distribution and financial systems in terms of system set-up and mapping of business processes to the proper system's functionality
'- Leads projects for 3rd-Party software that will be interfaced with the JDE System
'- Creates process models, specifications, diagrams and charts to provide a project plan
'- Provides training to end-users on IT implemented systems'- Prototypes/originates new procedures for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations and information process flows
- Maintains confidentiality in accordance with the ICT Policies and Procedures
- Ensures that the services given are delivered within the ICT governance framework
' - Performs other work-related duties and responsibilities as directed by the head/s of the department

Skills

'- Current JDE Enterprise One 8.12 experience with 2 or more years of application development using JDE "standard" programming technical concepts
'- With functional understanding of JDE including HRM, Distribution and Financials
'- Has the ability to understand and document complex business processes and can create specifications, diagrams and charts to provide company direction
'- Has the ability to take on primary support and responsibility for existing applications
'- Can effectively communicate and document ICT Projects
Bilingual - English/Arabic / Spoken & Written

- JD Edwards / CISCO/ PL-SQL / OS/AS-400 Knowledge
- HRIS / Oracle Financials Knowledge
- Computer Hardware Troubleshooting

Education

BS or higher degree in Engineering, Comp.Sci., or IT Management
