Heavy Vehicle Driver | Al-Futtaim Auto Centers

Currently seeking a Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our team in Dubai. The main responsibilities of your role is to provide reliable and courteous transportation service of goods to customers with safety a top priority; to provide a communication link between customers and staff; to operate and maintain assigned vehicle(s); and to maintain vehicles.Essential Duties are as follows:
- Operates assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner
- Maintains defensive driving
- Provides a communication link between customers and branch staff
- Keeps the assigned vehicle(s) clean inside and outside
- Maintains accurate, up-to-date records on vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, incident reports, accident reports, vehicle condition reports and other records that are requested from management
- Performs minor maintenance tasks on assigned vehicle(s) as required
- Fuels the assigned vehicle(s)

Skills

Experience:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Working knowledge of the rules and regulations involved in the safe and efficient operation of automotive equipment
- Good English language skills
- Arabic language skills preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance procedures
- Ability to deal effectively and patiently with others
- Ability to operate a Delivery van/truck or small bus
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
Desirable Experience and Training:- High school OR Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, provided the age and safe driving record requirements are met
- Employee must possess a valid U.A.E. driver's license class 3 and 4
