QHSE Officer
A leading multi-national company operating in various countries around the world with an annual turnover of 14+ Billion Euros, is offering an excellent and very challenging job opportunity in their fast growing operations in Afghanistan.
We are seeking for a QHSE Officer for our existing project in Afghanistan.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implementation & follow up of the Quality Management System, in terms of Procedures review, implementation, trainings, audits etc.
• Review and analyze reports of injuries, damages, production loss, LTI, etc. and take appropriate action. Prepare monthly QHSE statistics and maintains records.
• Ensure work safety and personal hygiene standards of all staff performing at various areas of activity during the visits / inspections / audits.
• Conduct regular inspection of sites and check for adherence to the governing safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure that the highest possible standards are attained and maintained in areas related to the contract.
• Maintain records and report and if changes are required inform concerned superiors for necessary action.
• Check with client to ensure that the quality of the service meets the safety standards.
• Adhere to company’s Administration Manual and other policies and procedures.
• Perform any other duties out of the normal routine but within the scope of the job.
• Adhere to health, safety and security procedures of the Client and Company
Deal with emergency situations in accordance with Company and Client policies and procedures
• Maintain safe personal & hygiene presentation standards
• Assist other departments as per the requirement
Report to QHSE Manager
Profile:
• Trade qualification of at east 5 years experience as HSE Officer or QA/QC Officer.
• Experienced in industrial Safety
• Experience in QHSE procedures implementation
• Experience in administrative reporting Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications,
• MS Outlook, MS Access, Outlook Web Access
• Ethical attitude to business and commitment to company’s values and ethical principles
• Ability to travel to sites / projects within the country.
