Core Purpose of Role
To manage the distribution of finished goods to our Sales Depots [KSA &GCC], monitor crates and pallets, stock inventory, reefer schedules, adherence to safety quality guidelines, commissioning of new depots, replacement of specific assets Activities:-
Ensuring that reefer schedules & arrivals to depots are at the required time.
Ensuring the reconciliation of received goods and despatched crates and plates are conducted at the required time and reconciling standards.
Ensuring the stored products in cold stores is at the correct temperatures.
Ensuring the reconciliation of expired products, returned products, crates and pallets are equal to the quantity issued.
Ensuring the replacement of assets is done at the required agreed time.
Ensuring the cost analysis to ensure the effectiveness of new depots is done
Ideally a graduate you will have a minimum of 5 years plus of experience as a Logistics Manager in a major FMCG organization with large fleet and Capex management responsibilities. Our finished products, which require speedy efficient distribution, exceed 1 million tons per annum. You will be supported by a strong team and need to be comfortable meeting deadlines and managing peak market periods like Hajj and Ramadan. This job is very demanding and will fully test your capabilities.
