Business Development Executive

Job Description

Our client are a first class Educational organization, specializing in Science, Technology & Engineering.

They require a Communications Manager to manage the internal and external branding and placement for the organization. The main focus will be local communication, to reach out to the local community of Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with the Events Manager and assist to arrange local events.

Objective of the Role:

To create and implement the organizations communications strategy aligned with the objectives of the company.

Ensure consistency of message delivery and alignment of key messages and initiatives across all communications activities. Manage creative staff resources.

• Create, implement and measure the success of a comprehensive communications strategy and tactical plan that will enhance the organization’s image and position within the UAE, GCC and internationally.
• Timely coordination of communication through a wide-range of channels to ensure ease of access, clarity and consistency.
• Provide counsel on all disciplines within communications and public relations.
• Plan, assist and support all departments of the company in communicating their key messages.
• Oversee any media interest in the organization and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests.
• Act as the organizations’s representative with the media.
• Stakeholder engagement and communications support.
• Write, edit and manage all communications materials produced by communications department. Proof-read/edit communications materials as needed by other departments.
• Participate in the development of creative briefs for all communication initiatives that include clear objectives, time lines and deliverable for internal stakeholders and outside agencies.
• Assist in the planning an execution of major events designed to attract media attention.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to all assigned staff.
• Prepare and manage the Communications Department budget. Requirements
Requirements Experience
• 5-10 years of work related experience in communications at a management level.
