FINANCE MANAGER DUBAI
Key areas of responsibility include the management of:
Financial Control - key compliance role ensuring the integrity of the general ledger and financial statements, compliance with regulatory reporting and the management of the expense base.
Responsibility now incorporates the use of Finance's shared services team in India
Decision Support - Key tasks include the provision of daily/monthly/quarterly management reporting and analysis from the general ledger/data warehouses, the full Planning & Forecasting function (including scenario modelling, budgeting and forecasting)
New Business Approval, Supporting the business through investigations of new business/product development opportunities and external acquisitions including the provision of technical accounting advice and detailed financial models for Assisting in the annual budgeting process
Staff supervised:
• Direct supervision and mentoring responsibilities for six staff including three managers.
Key skill requirements:
• CA / CPA qualified
• > 6 years post -qualification experience in a commercial and constantly changing environment, preferably Financial Services
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Cooperative team member actively developing direct reports and junior staff members
• Very strong customer focus balanced with the risk management function between Finance and the business
